We loved this place. So many good things. Firstly, the pool on the roof was great and a saviour at the end of the day when you're hot and had a big day. The pool bar is also lovely to hang around. It's a bit more expensive than the city, but not too much more. The two free drink vouchers for the bar were also great. Location was ideal. It was a short walk to the markets. You could walk 15-20 mins to the war Remnants Museum (which was important to see) and an easy walk to most places. It was also on a slightly quieter street so not too much noise. You could still hear some beeping from the bikes and cars downstairs, but I think that's everywhere in Saigon. Other people talked about the entrances being confusing, but I don't really agree as I found it pretty simple. The reason it's a little confusing is that it's three building joined into one at the bottom and top. So there are three entrances. It's not a major problem as it's simple enough to walk through to the other area. The roofs were are good size and extremely clean and comfortable. The beds were good and the hot water from the taps was great. The view isn't super special from our bedroom, but it was nice to have some view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was greatand and plentiful. We got a free dinner voucher but that might have been because we stayed 5 nights. Overall we loved it. It's very fancy but not a 7 star hotel, so if you want ultra fancy then it's not at that standard. If you want a beautiful, clean and high standard hotel, then I highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, excellent location, it is important to say there are two Alagon hotels in one, Alagon Saigon and Alagon City. each with opposing street frontage and shared facilities such as restaurant, pool, beauty spa etc, we stayed at both during our time in Vietnam. Alagon Saigon Hotel we stayed 4 nights, being the newer of the two, very clean, with a nicer room fitout and view than Alagon City. Alagon City Hotel and Spa we stayed 2 nights, is a little older, with noise from lift and the rooms face a 20 metre plus neon sign from the hotel opposite, no escaping the light overnight even with curtains closed. Apert from the older rooms, all else is equal. Superb full buffet breakfast offered, if taking the happy hour package it includes drinks at the rooftop bar each evening, both spirits and alcoholic cocktails offered and chat potato snack. Complimentary dinner offered with our 5 night stay, one main each, excellent. Hotel location is perfect being District 1, many restaurants, massage etc. mere steps away and short walk to markets. All hotel staff are very attentive and helpful at every interaction. Rooftop pool is small and probably not suitable for littlies that cannot swim, water was quite cold for such a warm climate location. Luggage storage available and bathroom facilities at pool level for late flights after checkout.

I recently stayed at the Alagon City Hotel and Spa, and it was an incredible experience. The breakfast spread was absolutely amazing, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The spa and massage services were top-notch, providing a perfect way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. The location of the hotel is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy all the nearby attractions. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, but I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Kane Hoang, the Assistant Front Office Manager, for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

We were very impressed by this hotel, which makes great use of what appears to be a quirky layout. The restaurant facilities sprawl across the main entrance floor, with multiple serving stations operating for breakfast and spaces ranging from a formal dining atmosphere to a quick snack location for those looking to make a swift exit. The clientele was very mixed with many Vietnamese guests alongside tourists from many countries. Everyone could find something to suit, but the ubiquitous noodle soup / Pho options had a wide fan base. The rooftop pool and bar area was made all the better because the hotel gave guests discount tickets for each day.

Duncan

Everyone at the hotel is extremely kind and can’t do enough to help you, especially Quan and Catie who ensured to check in with us everyday. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The location is very central and in easy walking distance to a lot of the main attractions. The daily breakfast was the perfect way to start our day with a big selection and even made to order eggs and omelettes. We didn’t use the pool or rooftop bar but both looked great, we visited the spa and our therapists were amazing. Would have loved a few extra days to enjoy the facilities more.
